Science and Nature DOCumentary - Short form

CONSEQUENCES
This film was selected for screening by the United Nation Forum on Forests in 2013 film festival.  In Alaska, millions of acres of spruce forests have been decimated by the spruce bark beetle.  The yearly cold that has, in the past, been the line where winter was too fierce for the beetles to migrate further north has moved further and further north with warming winters.  Ten years later, in 2023, this topic is now baring witness to a future a chance. SOFT TISSUE

No scientist believed soft tissues from animals could survive such a test of time, certainly not 80,000,000 years.  Is that what Dr. Mary Schweitzer discovered in the leg bone of a T-Rex.  Jurassic Park?

DINOSAUR JACK
This is one of my earlier short-form student works from 2003.  The project was funded by the renowned paleontology museum, The Museum of the Rockies, based near Montana's dinosaur field in Bozeman.  Then curator of paleontology, Dr. Jack Horner, famous paleontologist, MacArthur Grant winner and advisor to the Jurassic Park franchise of films sits down with me and talks about his passion - dinosaurs.
